Description

Always keep moist during germination. Prefers semi-shady areas in moist, weedless soil. There are many culinary uses for the young leaves. The plant serves as a food source for caterpillars. In order to make nettle broth (aphid deterrent) and nettle fertilizer, cut the plants before they bloom. Wear gloves when harvesting.
