Description
Very robust and tasty cucumber. Not bitter.
Cucumbers prefer loose, humus, nutrient-rich soil in a warm, sunny area. Water in the morning; do not use fresh water rather use water that has been sitting out.
Make sure that potted cucumbers are not sown too early. Never prick out cucumbers, rather plant them in a bed of soil as soon as they have formed 2 real leaves. Should only be exposed to the elements after mid-May.
When the plant has 3-4 leaves, hill the soil up around the stalk. Once the plant has formed its 5th leaf, pinch back the plant in order to let the vines develop more fully.
