Harvest just prior to bloom once the young leaves reach a length of about 15 cm. Also suitable for planting in flower boxes.
Always keep moist during the germination period. Arugula thrives in soil with fine tilth in sunny to partially-shaded locations.
Sow in rows; or broadcast thin and lightly cover with soil. It is best to cover the seed with a horticultural fleece. Water arugula regularly and well to prevent the leaves from becoming bitter and the plants from blooming too early.
