This non-climbing variety yields dark green, slender, delicious fruit. Ensure higher yields by regularly harvesting zucchinis once they’ve reached 20 cm in length. The decorative flowers are often considered a delicacy.
Zucchini is an undemanding cultivar. Sow at least two plants so that they may pollinate one another thereby guaranteeing a regular yield. After germination, sufficient light should be provided. Zucchini prefer humus, nutrient-rich, warm soil in a sunny, protected area. Zucchini need warmth (black plastic mulch beneficial). Keep soil moist.
Sow 2-3 seeds per 9 cm pot or per plot. Only leave the strongest plants.
