Description
An especially popular, undemanding vegetable with a pleasantly spicy taste. Short cultivation period. Ideal on bread and in mixed salads.
With a six to eight week cultivation period, the radish is well suited as a catch crop and can be planted wherever space allows. They thrive in almost any soil. Radishes need a uniform supply of water in order for the skin to remain smooth and the taste mild.
In order to keep the soil free of common diseases and pests, do not plant radishes where radishes or cabbage have been harvested within the past 3-4 years.
